I recently purchased the Tokarev TBP 12 GA and was looking for an ambidextrous magazine release. I got a relatively cheap 3D-printed one from another source. The first time I activated the release lever, it fell apart into more pieces than a jigsaw puzzle. I changed the search terms, and your website came up. I watched your installation video and was impressed. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I recently installed it and dry-fired about 20 dummy shells—it works as advertised. I used the five-round mag and the 10-round mag for my dry-fire. Released every time. In about a week, I will be at my local range with live fire. This is a new Tokarev TBP 12 GA TBP Auto Shotgun. I've never owned one, but with all the reviews, I have to try it. If it meets my specifications, it will become my home defense weapon of choice. I cannot thank you enough for this modification.
I previously commented on the value of this Ambi Mag release button. I went to my local outdoor shooting range today. I put over 50 rounds through using both the 5-round and 10-round mags. The Ambi Mag release worked flawlessly. The only mishap was that one round would not feed into the chamber. This was not attributed to the Ambi Mag release. But the Ambi Mag release did facilitate expelling the unchambered round. This Ambi Mag release improved the number of rounds I shot and made switching between the 5-round mag and the 10-round mag easier. Again, thank you, SpedTech, for this Ambi Mag release.
